Gen 3 Camry steering wheel into 2?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question, does anyone know if a Gen 3 Camry steering wheel will fit directly onto a gen 2? Will the horn be affected? I don't have an airbag, so one less thing to worry about (if any gen 2 did come with them).

Cheers!

Edit: Don't want to get a hub/boss kit/adapter or whatever they're called, just looking for a simple swap. Been driving a gen 3 Vienta for too long and when i hop into my gen 2, it feels HUGE!

hmmmmm not sure if it's a direct swap... i'm using a gen3 hub on the gen2 but it has to be turned upside down for the turn signal stick to turn off properly.... i think the gen2 has 3 stubs and 1 is in the middle on top.. the gen3 also has 3 stubs but 2 is on top..

What do you mean by the hub? When i had the wheel off, all it remember it being connected to was a splined shaft, but i get what you're saying with the stubs. So does that mean i'll have to use the combination switch from a Gen 3 as well then? If so, do you know if the wiring harnesses match up?

the splines will match up fine... if you don't mind losing the turn signal turning off by itself when you straighten out the wheel again then it should work fine... i think that's more work than you want to do making the gen3 turn signal/headlights stick work on gen2
