Ok guys, i know we have all talked about the Lexus Conversion for our gen 2 camry's. well i got most of the parts today and plan on starting it this weekend. everything looks real easy.
dont worry, i will take lots of pictures of the progress of the conversion to let you all see how it went.
Joe.
PS let me know if the photos dont work

joe - adam knew about the conversion, lol but i wont hold that against him.
daddygonz - i would sell you my old headlights but they are not the camry headlights, i have a hacked up set of ES 250 lights in there now.
Charlie - i will make sure and let you know about the hood latch and such. i did take the fender and hold it up to another gen 2 camry at the junkyard and they seemed the same size, only major difference is the windshield corner on the fender.
atobe - i know the body lines are different, they ES fenders also have huge moulding pieces that wond go with the rest of the car. i however am not going for perfection right now, the car is getting painted soon and i needed to have the front end on and lined up before hand so i knew what adjustments and modifications i had to do, (like using a filler plate at the body to get rid of the molding)
Corey - hopefully i will have it on this weekend so everyone can see it at the meet on the 13th. Hopefully
Sorry guys, its late and i didnt feel like trying to figure out how to quote what everyone said, but thanks for the comments and i will keep you posted

Can't wait to see it done as well. I'm thinking about some ES250 Taillights.
The ES250 trunk it totally different than the Camry - all the tail lights mount to the body and the trunk opens only on the top section with different hinges... It would be a fair amount of custom work to get them on there.

well i got screwed over on ebay, so i just had to order brand new marker lights for the conversion. so now i play the waiting game. i might try and bolt enverything else on this weekend and just leave the marker lights out until they come in. but i have to wait and hope that the weather breaks. its been raining for 4 days straight

I figured. I'll just stick to JDM tails then.

Here's my camry ^
Current: B+G Springs, KYB GR2 Struts, Erebuni Bodykit(uninstalled), 3SGTE/E52 swap, Crane HI-6S Ignition Box, Crane Timing Retard Controller.
Plans: Here
How hacked up are the lights? Are you talking about the mounts? If so, send me some pics and how much you want for them plus shipping. I can always play around with them. I am always trying new ways to get better lighting. I've done a few HID projector retros and always love the challenge.
Let me know if you want to get rid of your old lights.
Thanks
does the lexus es250 front bumper fit directly on?? or will i have to make some fabrication for it to mount on... came across a few es250s in the junk yard.. i like how the bumper looks compared to the stock camry
im not 100% sure but when i was at the junkyard they seem to be the same in the corners. now as far as mounting goes i have no idea. i didnt get the front bumper when i was there. the one was all mashed up and the other car didnt have a front bumper on it. but i do want to switch my car over to painted bumpers eventually so i will be picking up a ES250 front bumper at some point.
