2nd Generation Little power after timing belt/water pump change

I just replaced the water pump and timing belt on a 1991 Camry 3SFE automatic with 157K miles.
I got everything lined up and back together but now the car has little power. It starts, idles, and revs fine but when I take it down the road,it seems like a 2 cylinder instead of a 4. When the accelerator is pressed, power builds very slowly. Any thoughts? Thanks

These threads are becoming more and more common. They always say everything is lined up and properly timed. But at the end of the day, your timing is off.

Also, make sure you jump connectors 'T' and 'E1' at the diagnosis connector when checking ignition timing and set it at 10* BTDC. It stops the ECU from advancing/retarding timing so you get a proper reading. After removing the jumper, timing should move between 14 and 19* BTDC at idle speed.

Thanks Jimnist, Do you know the proper idle speed range for this engine?
I cranked it up when I screwed up the timing belt installation and it was idling low. Other than the high idle, she runs like a champ now.

What's it idling at now? My manual says 700 +/- 50 rpm. Mine's idling at 1k with a warm engine (goes to 2k when cold), but i just can't be bothered lowering it, good enough lol.
