How to remove rear seatbelts?

Hey guys,


So i was cleaning up some rust around my rear windshield, saw a little bubble and cleaned away at it. CRACK! Now there;s a fat hole near the corner of the windshield under the boot. Plan to get some fibreglass matting on the inside and then body fill it, but the rear seatbelt reels are in the way. So how do you remove these?

I've felt the back of it and feel threaded shank, so the heads are under the cover i assume.

Yeah, you have to pry the little plastic cover up and off the bolt (carefully), then simply unbolt the anchor. Do you need to remove the whole belt, or just the anchor on the plastic pillar trim?

Update

So i went to remove the seatbelt reel and i think i've stuffed up real bad. I popped the retracting reel for the belt (at the top of the assembly) in an attempt to remove the cover to get to the belt . Little did i know you just pull the cover away at the groove.

So far, i haven't been able to get the retracting bit at the top back on. Is there a way to get it or am i damned for eternity......until i get another one from the wreckers?
