Urgent! How to get belt off a 91 Camry alternator??

Hi

The swap out seems straightforward enough- disconnect the battery, be gentle with the alt plugs, etc., but how do I get the belt off? The belt runs from the alt pulley to the a/c compressor to a third pulley and back to the alternator.

Thanks guys. I had an account here before but it seems to have been deleted :-(

I found a manual online, but it doesn't mention the location of a tensioner, it only mentions removal of the alternator drive belt in order to remove the alternator.

do you mean that third pulley, or the bolts holding the alternator in place?

There is a lock bolt that goes from the side of the alternator that locks the adjustment in place. The adjustment bolt itself comes straight down form the top. Loosen the lock bolt and then loosen the adjustment bolt. The alternator should come loose enough to rock it back and remove the belt from it. Then remove it from the other 2 pulleys.
