Camry Vs Ford Fuzion

Well the wife was driving today and got into a minor fender bender....
As she got the green light with a witness the girl in the fuzion decided she was going to run the red light.. Wife coming from across the intersection to turn northbound to head to my work. Girl ran red light and they met in the middle. The camry caught the driver rear wheel of the fuzion and qtr panel. Left some scuff marks on the fuzion and bent the wheel on it as well..

The Fuzion driver wasnt admitting fault until the witness told her she was in the wrong.. Then she admitted fault and apolodized to me...

The corner of the camry bumper has a hole cracked into it with the paint rubbed off. The corner near the wheel well has ripped leaving the bumper side coming out a tit bit and the lower fender is bent.

Looks like I'm going to need a fender, bumper cover, reinforcement is bent a tad bit and possibly an absorbor. And to think I was about to sell this thing for 2k...

Guess ill try and get it fixed

Good thing everyone was fine and no one was hurt.

Anyone parting out their camry?

yes sir.. As you can see near the top corner of the fender there was already damage.. Something that happened long before I bought the vehicle.. I was going to replace the fender anyhow eventually. Good thing I didn't do it sooner.
I just didnt want to have to replace the bumper cover and all the related stuff behind it...

O well anyhow. besides that everything on the car is new so it'll last another 15+ years. That Im happy for

I know this is a bit off-thread, but since I saw a thread here in the Camry forum that also mentioned the Ford Fuzion, I had to tell everyone this.

My brother-in-law is a finance manager at a large Ford dealership here where we live. He knows how sold we are on Toyotas and was telling us that the Taurus was all "new and improved" ... and that the salesmen and folks at Ford are calling the Fuzion ... get this ... "The Camry Killer." He claimed they are going to steal the title from Camry with the Fuzion. I laughed hard enough I think it ticked him off!!! Camry rules!
