i have made my 88 camry into a race car at my local track
and most of the time I only need to run in 1st gear (car is a automatic)
and what it does is automaticly shifts into second with the gear
selector still in 1st. I guess some sort of safety feature?? does any
one know if it is possible to change this so it wont shift into second
automaticly because it is causing lots of problems because sometimes i dont
get going slow enough in the corner for it to downshift back to 1st and I
just dont have enough power out of the corners aswell as it tends to kick into second right when im entering a turn... very frusturating
