Headiners!

I have a '91 Camry with 260k on it, and I've gotta admit, the one thing I've always admired about these cars are the awesome vinyl headliners that seem to never want to come down. More cars need headliners like this. Plain and simple. Sure, mine has a stab wound or two from a key from getting in, but it's nice to know that I'll never have the issue of the thing coming down on me. I'm sure you guys couldn't agree more!

Ha ha, if you had posted this a few years ago I would have thought you were crazy--I grew up in Toronto and everyone I knew drove Toyotas or Hondas. But here in the boondocks, most folks still like their crappy old pickup trucks--and almost all of them have roofliners tearing and falling in your face. I hate them, and I cannot believe the difference in build quality when I get out of my 89/90/91 Toyotas and get into dad-in-law's 1987 GMC. I actually think they were designed by Lego.

Get an LE headliner.... it has a cloth surface and still doesn't come down.

I hadn't seen a headliner on the LE before until making a trip to the scrap yard for a few things for my DX. I came across a maroon LE with everything on it, and sure enough, the headliner looked as good as new!

The only thing that falls down in the LE is the moon roof liner. Mine is slowly coming apart from the lip near the front of the liner

What the heck would cause that? Excessive heat-plus-moisture? I ask because I live in one of the most variable climates in North America and my sunroof liner is still fine. Summer days get up to 35C (95F), while winter nights routinely get down to -35C (-31F).

Now that I think of it, I'm surprised that 19 years of this crap hasn't wrecked it...
