Ok so I think I've been getting really crappy City MPG for my 4 cylinder 89 camry.
I would say over that past 6 months, my average City MPG is 21.5MPG...
On the highway I can get up to about 30MPG...
But on my last tank I was driving VERY conservativly and using hypermiling techniques and I still only got about 22MPG...
Wondering if somethings wrong with my car, because I would think I should be getting at least 25MPG.
I drive to work, 4 miles each way, and then other minor trips in the city. My AC is on 50% of the time at full blast.. because its freaking hot heare gets up to like 110F.
Anyways let me know what you guys are getting!

Is 21.5 MPG really that bad? I get roughly 23.5 MPG or 10L per 100km. I never do highway kms though, all stop-start city
Edit: This is with a m/t and my trips are usually short, usually no more than 6 km's one way.

Oh, righty-o. I thought it was okay, my manual states 9.6L/100km, but then i started searching for other people's fuel economy and was shocked. So many people getting 25-30mpg in city :O And yeah, i sometimes let loose and mash that pedal to the ground hehe xD Even though i go nowhere haha

Did some longer trips last tank and got a whopping 7.6L/100km (31MPG) :O Very pleased. At least 50% was freeway driving where i was pretty constant with the throttle and going +70km/h most of the time.
