Transmission computer command tester-- the video

The lights look dim on the video however they are fairly bright in real life.
the box is moved from its location for better camera viewing
The car was accelerating after turning:
initial speed 5 mph;
the pattern is normal;
computer commands: 1-2; 2-3; 3 + lock-up; lock-up release; 3-4; 4 + lock up.
if acceleration rate above 30 mph is not as high' no lock-up command is send during third gear.

That's pretty cool. I just used a multimeter set on the dash to check my trans when I was having shifting issues (turned out to just be fluid levels). Is your box powered off the actual solenoid signals or the Vf pin on the check connector?

Slightly off topic... is there an easy way to get the trans to stay in 3rd gear with or without lockup? Or maybe just 1st and 3rd or something? I want to dyno the Alltrac so I can get a comparison before/after the motor swap. (I'm expecting to have approx 4x the wheel horsepower after the swap )

It is powered by the actual solenoid signals; I made plug-in-between breakout splitter; so after separating tranny to underhood harness cnnector, I can just plug my device in.
more videos:

If I don't need to watch it, I can unplug it or just hide it under hood, thanks for the magnet I put at the bottom.
If you have ECT transmission unplugging the harness should put transmission in to the "manual shift mode"; "second" position of the lever will put it into "D"-third gear; applying 12 volts to the lock-up solenoid pin (yellow round connector) will apply the lock up . The solenoid has 15 ohms resistance so I would suggest to use 5 Ohm 4 watt resistor in series with it just in case (the computer output voltage is about 11.5 v vs 14 volts when engine is running).
I did similar thing on my friend's car to isolate the torque converter noise.
In the first gear the lock up cannot be applied because 1-2 shift valve block the lock -up apply passage in the valve body
