New Steering rack toe adjustments

Hey guys, im new here. Have a 91 camry with power steering and i just installed a new rack and lines. All i need to do now is bolt the arms into the tie rod ends but i am not sure how to go about this process? How do you tighten them enough to get the wheels somewhat straight? Would the toe need to be adjusted in a wheel alignment shop after a job like this? THanks for the help.....

Just tighten those castellated nuts up like a normal nut, it'll pull the tie rod ends through the tapered hole. I think it was something like 47Nm?

As for adjusting the toe, just drive carefully to where ever you want to get your wheel alignment done, i suggest somewhere close. You can adjust it yourself, but it won't be anywhere near as accurate as they get with the machines.

When i changed my steering to power steering, the wheels were screeching all the way to the shop. The toe was out that much. Like 2-3cm, when the tolerance is 0.x mm lol. Whenever it went over a bump, it would skip to the left, scary stuff.
