Hi I have a 1991 camry wagon with the 3sfe engine i was just wondering if i can get a lowing kit for it or something for better handling, i currently have a strut tower bar but i was just wondering if there are any other suspension upgrades for the wagon.
Thank you so much

You'll have to do some in-depth forum searches here, but it has been said that struts from a 5th-gen Celica will work. However, that is for the sedans...I know the struts on the wagon have a higher spring rate for the added weight.
There have been at least two forum members over the years who have modded their wagons...search and ye shall find.

Ya just gotta give a guy credit who can take a wagon and make it look like that...

Hey just wondering where you got the strut tower bar? I have heard the 89-91 ES250 has a stock strut bar that works on these vehicles but I am having trouble finding one.

You are correct...the ES250 is where the strut brace comes from. Unfortunately, they're getting rare so yes, it might be a challenge to find one. If you visit a wrecker they can check their uplink for other yards (anywhere in North America) for the part.

What up washington state?! I'm still sporting my washington state plates on my camry here in nyc.
I purchased a brand new strut tower bar from a Toyota/Lexus dealership 2 yrs ago. I want to say it was around $120 shipped with tax. I called and got the part number then I called a ton of dealerships from Washington, Oregon, California and Idaho since strut bar price, shipping and sales tax all differed from dealership to dealership and state to state.
I want to say I ended up buying it from a dealership in California, having it shipped to Washington and getting it installed at a local shop. Sorry I don't have all my research, although it would be 2+ yrs old. Hope that helps!
Thanks for all the advice, really appreciate it. Thought I ought to give an update on my hunt for a strut tower brace; I went to a junkyard over the weekend and managed to find not one but two 1st gen Lexus ES250s both of which still had their strut braces! Long story short, I grabbed one and got out of there with it for only ten dollars; got it put on my car about twenty minutes later. The difference isn't huge but it does seem noticeable in some situations; it takes a lot to rein in a camry wagon, lol
