91 Camry broke fuel filter input line

I was changing the filter on my friends 91 camry and I broke the fuel line going into the filter. I thought I was loosening the lower bolt but all I did was spin the fuel line. I went to all the local auto parts stores to see if I could find a fuel line repair kit and they only have kits for GM or Ford vehicles. I cant find the metric size to fit the filter. I also tried looking on craigslist to see if anyone was parting out a camry so I can cut the part of the line I need off. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I found a car on craigslist someone was parting out but he wouldnt sell me the fuel line. He said the car ran so wanted to keep it running so he could sell the motor. Does anyone know if I could get the line from the dealer. Does this line go all the way to the tank in one piece.

Think to solve, or remain, I always like having my own view.

Where did the break happen? If it is a little ways down the line, you can cut out the section and replace with rubber fuel lines, at least as a temp fix. Make sure the line is 'high pressure' fuel line, not carb fuel line.

I believe the hard line goes the full length of the car if you get a replacement from the dealer.

Thanks Charlie, My original plan was to use rubber hose but everyone says it will leak. The break is right at the end of the filter. Im gonna price a line at the dealer tomorrow if they even carry them
