JDM 3sfe swap (not normal question)

After reading tons of post about a 3sfe swap in place of a 5sfe, one thing I haven't found is, once the swap is done, what do you buy parts for? Do I tell my parts guy a 3sfe, and if so what years? Or do I look up 5sfe parts. I noticed the plug wires being different on these JDM engines, so right there your normal 3sfe item will not fit. Do I use 5sfe wires, and how does this effect the cap, and rotor apps?

It depends on what parts you use initially on the swap.

You may be able to swap your original 3s-fe distributor on to the new motor, in which case you could use all 3s-fe ignition components.

So, the real answer to your question is... "it depends"
