Those codes cover a lot of ground!

Any other symptoms? Mileage? Recent work done? Does the car run at all?

The car starts and idles. When you give it gas it falls on it face. It was running fine and all of a sudden this happened.

Reset the ECU and start the car again. See what codes come up...

Based on the number of systems that show and error, I think you might have a loose ground or something.

Check that both connections off the ground of the battery are clean and tight (one to the fender, one to the top of the trans). Check that the ground connection on the back of the intake manifold is in place (hard to see... but you can find it!). Those two are key. There should also be a ground connection from the alternator bracket to the passenger fender and on some cars from front/side of the transmission to the chassis.

Also check for chewed/frayed/worn spots in the wiring harness elsewhere. There is also a chance of a burned harness on the EGR pipe under the throttle body.

It is unlikely that the ECU is bad...

Any chance that you removed the screws on the AFM and tugged on the harness? If so, you could have broken the internal connections. The plug should be removed by removing the small metal c-clip and pulling on the harness, without removing the screws.

You can repair the AFM by pulling the plastic cap off the top and fixing the broken parts if this is the case.

Broken parts.

The AFM should be fine internally unless someone tugged on the electrical plug with the screws removed.

You can also compare the 'new' one to the old one. Make sure that you seal it up carefully when you are done with any repairs inside the AFM.

I bought 2 afm's from the junk yard, to make sure at least 1 worked. I tried both of them and I still got a code 31. The car idles fine. At higher RPM's it's missing. The plugs are black. I checked all the grounds there fine. I looked for any wires that were fryed or burned under and around the EGR. Nothing. I got a ECM at the junk yard too. It didn't make a difference.
