Air Purifier?

Wat is this device at the back shelf on my gen 2? anyone know? when i activate it ... it can hear a motor running, but i dont feel any air from it or anything..? what's it suppose to do..?

as an air purifier..it uses electricity to charge the air removing pollutants,but u said u dont feel any air coming from it? does it have any air ducts attached to it?

a purifier works when air is passed through it along wid some kinda electricity and tht changes ions or wht ever..

yeah it has 2 air ducts and two motors (i think)... and vents mounted on the back shelf (behind the back seat) ... but i dont feel any air from it when it's on. the switch up on the center console has a hi and low setting also. well, maybe it's to do what u said, remove pollutants, and not so much blow air.

my gen 2 doesn't have one of those. It must have been an add on package.
From the looks of the diagram it does have a fan so it should move air. have you checked the cartridge to see if its clogged or maybe a mouse nest somewhere in the ductwork?

he has a japanese camry,my dad had one a long time ago when i was a kid...probably too young to remember the air purifier tho..

yeah i forgot to mention it's a jdm camry... i've checked the air cleaner unit ... but it was fairly good...... i haven't checked the ducts tho...
