Help Please!!!

i have got to take of the crankshaft timing gear to replace that gasket.
i cant remember for the life of me how i got it off before when i first took the
motor apart.
can anyone please tell me how to get it off?

I have no experience taking these motors apart so I may be wrong but if it's anything like my 302 was, when I took it apart, I just removed the bolt in the end and then had someone hold the gear while I LIGHTLY pounded the crankshaft with a mallet and a screwdriver(or other tool which can rest on the crank while you hit the other end)

it should just slide off, spray it with wd-40
