I dont want to have to spend money. and mine is in near perfect condition, i haven't found one in decent condition. is there a way to get the button face off? then i can just keep my buttons but put them on the switch from the yard?

There are some clips on the side that you have to pry open and then the assembly pulls apart. I don't remember what size/shape the bulb is inside though...

I also don't remember the exact procedure. Once I figured out that it would be hard to change the color of the light (the green comes from the back of the button face), I dropped the project.

which way does it pull apart? the plug and the button like long ways? or the top switch detaches from the bottom one? also i think the bulb is the 10mm (base) twist lock bulb. (same as hazard one)
