Wiper Noise

It's the noisy wiper blades. I keep Rain-X fluid in the reservoir. It works nice. My wipers are ok (michelin) but whether the windshield is clean or dirty, the wipers do the rubber to glass scraping noise. What kind of wipers can I put on that will help eliminate the noise? Anyone have any luck with the more expensive types?

Have you tried factory Toyota blades? I'm not sure who makes them, but they work great. I have also had good luck with Bosch Icon blades.

Have you put rain-x or any other rain repellent substances on your windscreen? I put some on and haven't heard it 'squeak' ever since.

Sort of a hi-jack, but my wipers aren't wiping a section of the windscreen. It's on the drivers side(in RHD car) about 1/4 way down on the blade and occurs during most of the motion. I changed the blades to a twin blade, but i don't think it's applying any pressure there. Is there anything i can do? It gets really irritating as that spot either always has water or dries with water/dirt stains.

I bought the factory blades online from 1st Toyota Parts. Smooth and quiet.

Sweet! They are a little more expensive than the parts store replacements, but as you can see, they are better!
