Reliable mechanic around NYC? - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Ive moved to NYC and am looking for a reliable Toyota mechanic. I've searched using google, yellowpages and the BBB.org but haven't found anything. Anybody have any suggestions around this area? New Jersey? Westchester? Long Island?

I dont have the time or space to work on my car...

Ron Ananian, The Car Doctor, has a shop in Waldwick, NJ, not very far from NYC. He works on ALL makes of vehicles and is very knowledgeable.

He also has a radio call in show on Wor-710 on Saturday afternoons from 2:00pm to 4:00pm You can tune in and listen and then judge for yourself

Perfect, this is great.

Looks like roughly between 30-60 min from me depending on traffic according to google maps. Anything a little closer to the city would be great, but this is much better than the dealerships which are my last resort.
