Angry 91 camry - bell keeps ringing w/ doors shut

I have a 1991 camry. It gets water inside whenever it rains. Since the last storm, the alert bell that rings when a door is open, will not stop ringing. I can put my ear up to the door, and hear it when all of the doors are shut. My electronic 'lock all doors' button works, but they immediately un lock. I have to turn the key on the passenger side to lock them all. I am not worried about any of these issues right now, except for the bell ringing. I'm afraid it will run my battery down, and I have a job interview tomorrow. What can I do?
Help is appreciated.

Welcomes to the forums....

Bell ringing...is that your alarm? Is it aftermarket or factory?

Cus' when you get in your car..and turn your car on...there is a bell ring - a few times ..basically reminding you to wear your belt. I know in my dad's cressida, the noice didn't go away until you did wear the belt...thankfully lately they have changed it. So hoping its that...and your problem solved??? if not....be more specific.....

it's factory. It stops when I put the key in the ignition. My door open light is always on when the key is in the ignition. The bell is ringing when I'm outside the car, all doors shut, key in my hand.

do the little red lights on the driver and passenger door light up too, or just the ding ding?

if the lights are on, i'd suspect a switch or perhaps wiring broken. Try depressing the switch manually.

No, the lights on the inside of the doors go off.. I don't know if there's a short or what.. Is the switch easy to see? I looked, but couldn't find it.

You got some weird shit going on.

Quote:
My electronic 'lock all doors' button works, but they immediately un lock.
It'll do this if the key is in the ignition, door / doors open, and you try to lock the doors.

Could be a faulty door pin switch.

The switch (door pin switch) is on the b-pillar for the front doors and c-pillar for the back doors.

Sounds like you have a faulty ignition switch (key cylinder) and/or door pin switch / switches.
