thanks guys, since i only have experience doin an auto to manual swap on an LS integra, can anyone tell me some common snags of a 5 speed swap on a camry i may get stummped on, and possibly a solution to them? just anything i may need to know or you can tell me that will make this go as smooth as is possibly can be.... and to some of you who may have done this, how long did it take you?

there aren't that many snags it's pretty straight forward... wire the neutral safety switch to your clutch pedal... or you can just jump it so the car will think it's in N all the time so it'll start... no mods to ECU since it doesn't care about what the trans is doing... the speedo cable will go right in... the only 2 electrical thing you have to do is the N switch to clutch switch on the clutch pedal.. and wire up reverse light... they're all in the big connection that goes to the trans where the gear selector is ... everything else is pretty straight forward...

if you take your time removing the shift cables from the 5spd you should be able to see how it should go into your car... just remember it's right above the steering rack there's 2 bolts that's almost impossible to get to in the engine bay side so don't start yanking on it which will rip the cable's rubber cover
