3sfe swap to 3sge question

What generation 3sge would be the easyist to replace my 3sfe? I know i will need the complete motor,harness,Ecu. Will the 3sge ecu plug and play with the rest of my 91 camry's wireing?

None are plug-n-play (wiring-wise). Any FWD-based 3s-ge will fit mechanically.

If you are starting with an auto, take that into account (you will probably want to do an auto-manual swap at the same time). If you keep the auto, you will have to get a 3s-ge ECU that knows how to control it.

I am doing a fe to ge gen1 conversion soon and the motor will bolt right up but thats where the easy part ends, the ecu and engine wiring on the ge motor will have to be grafted into your cars wiring and you will need the v6 airbox and mass air meter and a custom air hose to the intake or a 86 0r 87 gts air meter on the v6 airbox is the best way to go, i have researched this and www.poenixtuning.com will be a huge help
