Oil in distributor cap (tempory fix) mod.

Drill a hole in the bottom of the distributor cap just big enough to let the oil drip out. case closed.

USA No Lessons go unlearned?

This reminds me of the time my dad kicked my ass because I chained down my motor on my old mustang to the frame because I had a broken motor mount. Can you guess what happened?

Fix it right!

Then you wont have cracks in the cap later not to mention it stalling out when you go for a nice ride on a rainy day through some water....
...last but not least you will safe your lower control arm bushings and environment from all that oil dripping.

I dont know what that seal looks like but chances are it is nothing but a $1 0-ring that you can find anywhere. and it probably does not matter who made it so long as its an exact fit. For a lot of parts on the car like this, i do believe there's nothing magical about it just because it comes in a box with "Toyota" printed on it.
Besides which it is no secret that Toyota, or any other car maker, does not even make most of the parts in the car anyway.

Kbox Engineering in Ontario Canada makes a seal kit for the 3S-FE for $25. I'm currently in the process of installing one.

The easier way would just be to buy a new or rebuilt distribotor, but of course that's more $.
