I need help replacing the oil pump seal on my 1991 dx carmy V6

I have a 1991 toyota camry dx v6 with a five speed manual tranny. I'm not to mechanically inclined but i would really like to know more on this subject and was wandering if i have to pull the motor out to do this job. And if i do would you give me a list of all the problem seals while the motor is out that i can replace. I do have the help of people who know how to do work like this they just don't know anything about my car so any information would greatly be appreciated here.

Its hard to know if the leak is coming from the oil pump (rare) or the cam and crank seals (more likely). You can change any of those with the motor in the car, but they are all 'behind' the timing belt, which you will want to change if it has gotten oil on it.

Make sure you know where the leak is coming from before you tear that far into it...

when my timing belts were changed at 180k, the oil pump seal was changed and i think also the crank seal.

figured while the time belts needed to be changed, might as well change the seals. the oil pump seal seemed pretty simple to replace but everything was already taken apart for the timing belt and i was watching two experts!
