2nd Generation What are my options for replacement suspension?

So after 230K faithful miles, my stock suspension is starting to die. I'm trying to look for a set of replacements, however, I'm pretty confused at what's available.

My Car: 1991 Camry Station Wagon 4cyl

After searching this forum, it seems like KYB GR2s are a solid choice. It doesn't seem like there is a definitive answer to whether 4th Gen Celica suspension fits the Camry. It appears only Charlie was able to fit All-Trac Celica to All-Trac Camry.

My concerns:
-Is the suspension on the stationwagon different than the sedan (if anything it would be the rear) ?
-User serviceable struts? I see this word used a lot when looking at KYB vendors. It seems like some vendors are selling "cartridges."

Can only help with the latter. There are two types of struts:

Serviceable (inserts) and
non serviceable (aka sealed struts)

With serviceable ones, you can take out the cartridge/insert and change that. With sealed, you have to replace the whole unit. As for telling them apart, not sure.

ive been using the nonservicable kyb gr2 struts since 2001 (wow 9 years!). they have a lifetime warranty. the rear passenger side strut was leakin 6 months ago and i took it back to the original shop (w/original receipt) and they warranty replaced both rear struts (for good measure). i have a lot of heavy stereo equipment in the trunk so its not surprising after 9 years.

i lowered with intrax springs and replaced stock struts with kyb struts at the same time. we also have an 89 completely stock gen2 camry and comparing the two different suspension setups, i really enjoy the kyb gr2 struts much more. i'll second your opinion on the kyb gr2 struts as a solid choice!

research: the online catalog for kyb products shows the wagon and sedan using the same part number for gr2. rear right - 235042 and rear left - 235043.

Thanks for the info guys. Can't wait to pick up a set. I'm so tired of the car creaking and dipping.

I'm assuming excel-g is the same gr2?

not sure. i know mine are gr2. never heard of the excel-g before. i remember calling kyb once before, so there must be a number listed on their site and i'm sure they could explain the difference, if any?
