Mod for Making Auto Seat Belts to Manual

I have had a lot of xustomers say they do NOT like the auto seat belt feature in the Gen2 Camry's. (this feature was not continued in GEN3)

I have unplugged the electrical with the seat belt in the locked and driving position , but the people in the front seat have to lift the seat belt over their head when getting in or out.

I noticed on the Corolla of the same year the front seat belts clip on the door and then wind down tot he side of the seat when not in use.

Wondering if I can SAFELY Custom Mod the Camry to clip on like the Corolla.

i haven't ever seen the corolla seat belts from this year.
would it be possible to take pieces from the corolla and match up with ours to make it work?
the first approach which comes to my mind is for the seat belt to be modified at the top where it connects and slides on the rail. the area could have a seat belt release button to connect/disconnect like a normal seat belt while avoiding modifying its interactions with the rail. might need some welding...just throwing out idea! im sure somebody else has more experience/better approach.
