need the part# for bulbs in the shift selector - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Anyone have the part# for the bulbs in the shift selector mounted in the dash? I'm talking about the one with the O/D off, power, norm....not the shifter itself. Any other part #'s for bulbs are also appreciated as I have the entire bottom end and gauge cluster removed :/ Thanks!

I simply took mine to autozone and matched up.

I belive itwas #71 or something like that.

Note: if you have any bulbs with the little green film SAVE THEM. ...you may need the film on new bulb

no such luck at my autozone....they had a bunch of 74's which look too big....the hunt continues.

These bulbs are a dealer only part. However there is another trick that works that cost alot less and you can't tell a diffrence. Go to your local Radio Shack. In teh drawers they sell two packs of micro bulbs that are 2 per pack for 1.50 they are rated at 12vt 60ohm i belive. I've used countless and i mean countless bulbs from radioshack to fix shift indicators to dash buttons.
