Front Lower Control Arms - difficult?

I recently replaced my suspension (KYB GR2s) and noticed the bushings on my front lower control arms had completely melted away due to a leaky power steering resi.

I ordered the parts, including a new ball joint. My question is how difficult is this to replace? Will it require an alignment afterwards? I was hoping to tackle this after work one night, but I'll still have to make it to work the next day

A quick look appears to show that two screws hold the ball joint to the hub carrier which attaches to the end of the arm. One bolts attaches mid way to the sway bar. And finally one bolt attaches the arm to the subframe. It looks like the entire mount needs to be removed at this end (??)

Can anyone that has done the job chime in?

Alignment, yes.

If you have air tools, it is pretty easy.

You will probably want to take both control arms and the swaybar off together as a unit and work on it off the car.

Unbolt the left-right subframe, then the front swaybar mounts, then the ball joints then the brackets that hold the control arms. Remove the parts you are going to replace, install the new parts and put it all back on the car in reverse.

I can do it in an hour or two, but I have done it many times.
