'89 Camry diesel

My dad just got an 84 camry with a diesel 2000 turbo d engine and I might be driving it for awhile and just trying to find some info on this car. I have been trying to any info and for some reason just cant find any thing. Any one know where I can find some info? Any help would be appreciated.

will try and get some tomorrow. Suprisingly this car is in great shape considering the age. The seats a a little worn and sun damaged but what do you expect from a 21 year old car. We need to fix the injector(think thats what he said) its leaking diesel, other than that it runs great and I cant wait to see what kinda mileage we squeeze out of this thing sinces its a manual as well.

Very few, if any people on here have a diesel Camry... you won't find much here.

For factory fixes, you can probably get the OEM repair manuals.

Body and suspension work should be the same as any other Camry, at least... which is good for you (easier to find parts).

I have previously only seen gen1 Camry ('84-'86) diesels.

yup, Camrys came diesel, and some were even RWD..!!
