2nd Generation Rear stabilizer bar/link

I recently finished replacing the struts on my teens 91 Camry and found no rear stabilizer bar and link was installed on this car!
I bought this a few months back and have been replacing a few items and came across this.
How serious could this be?
I did notice some sway in the rear end and although the strut replacement has really smoothed the overall ride, obviously no real improvement in the sway.
Any other concerns to consider with this item?
Seems easy enough to replace though.

the base model never came with them... it's safe to drive around w/o one.. but you can always goto the junkyard and get the bar and bushings to put them on..not that much work ... i went from no bar to stock bar to aftermarket bar it does make a difference but if you're driving normal not too much to notice

Most of the rear swaybar endlinks are plastic, so they have a tendancy to break. Just get some replacements and install. Enjoy the improved handling.

I would highly recommend installing a sway bar considering a young driver is behind the wheel.( Not saying anything about your teen but I was once a teenager driving a Camry) At highway speeds any bit of extra stability is a big help in traffic.

For the first year of driving my '88 Camry sedan I didn't even know it had a broken rear swaybar. I just thought it was supposed to handle that way!

I ended up going to the junkyard and getting a thicker swaybar off of the wagon model. Handles great now.

I think I may take a trip to the pick-a-part and pull one for this car. It doesn't sound too difficult.
Thanks for all the replies.
