This site is great! I just found it, & I'm impressed to say the least.
I've owned many Corollas back in the 80s, & loved every one of them, then I started eyeballing the 2nd gen Camry- Got a '91 LE back in 'oo that was a 1 owner(older woman)car & had 89,000 miles on it. Today it's got 152,000 miles & runs strong. Ever since I bought it, though, the moon roof won't open- I can hear the motor up there working, it sounds like a drive chain came loose? Any of you have this problem, & if so what do I do?

Mine didn't work either on my 88 LE. I had to replace the cables myself which I bought at the dealer which was in excess of $200 and I think had gone close to 3-400 a short time later. If its the cables you might be able to swage some aircraft cables from an aircraft mechanic and general aviation aircraft supplier like "Aircraft Spruce and Specialty".

That's good to hear, I have a swaging kit @ work & access to every size aircraft cable. Thanks for the tip 66conv6, I'll tear into it in a couple days when I've got the time.
