do you think your ECU is defective ? that rarely happens... but ok it's underneart the ash tray .. at least this is the case for the sedan camry but chances are it's in the same place on the wagon

I have checked throttle position sensor two times. It showed good. The repair manual said that it may be error from ECU. But I am not sure the real problem from ?

Based on the information you provided, the original part# was 89661-32450, however, the new replacement number is 89661-32453-84. You may want to take that in consideration when looking for it.

Unfortuneatly the unit for an 89 is manufactured discontinued. There are outfits out there, and you can find them on the internet, or a forum member may have had some success with one, that can rebuild yours.

I'm sorry for the bad news, but the bright side is that the rebuilders usually are cheaper than a new OEM one, especially for that year.

Can I buy it on ebay? Most of them said the item has been tested. Or maybe go to buy from the company.

In my opinion, and if were my car, I would buy it from a reputable company. Ebay would be okay, but I like knowing that there is someone standing behind their work. I.e. a warranty. I am not sure how much they are going for on Ebay, but that is my two cents worth.

I have used them a couple of times on discontinued ECUs and have had no problems or comebacks.
