turbocharging a 91 camry

I have a 91 camry (2L efi) and am thinking about getting a turbo for it for some (well maybe a bit more than some) extra grunt. What i want to know is what turbo i should get, how much it'll probably cost me (in australian dollars if possible) and whether or not my engine will die if i turbocharge it.

In another topic people were saying a way around extra insurance costs for a turbo is not telling them you've turbocharged it, but if you crash and haven't told them about the turbo, won't they just tell you where to go and not pay out cause you didn't mention the turbo?

on a completely different note, does anyone know what the air vent thingy in the boot on the left side is? Is it a vent for the fuel tank or is it connected to the cooling/heating system to match boot temperature's with those in the car? I want to put a panel in that part of the boot for mounting an amp but figured i should find out what it is before i block it's air.

88 LE is as far as I know the first one from this board to turbo his stock Camry engine (the 3S-FE engine). You can get some good info from the link. Also check out http://homemadeturbo.com it is quite inspiring
As far as cost. It'll cost you as little as you can find the part for. That can be anywhere from $800-1500USD. Plus it'll all have to be custom. I hope your quite mechanically gifted
