Toyota ATF Type T

I can't find it at any Toyota Dealer. Two out of the three I checked said use Type T-IV and the other was calling for DEXIII. I would have went for the Type T-IV but I had found a TSB on an online search that said Type T-IV was not backwards comatible to Type T.

Here is a link to what I found.

Does anyone know for sure what to use in place of Type T?

OK, found another TSB that says it is OK to use type T-IV in place of type T ATF.

Should be compatible. I'm assuming your doing a flush? Try out a synthetic ATF. I'm currently running Mobile 1 and I got to tell you it feels great. Shifts feel a lot smoother, I've also herd good things about amsoil but its a pain to get a hold of it. You don't have to go OEM for ATF though their a lot of other readily available ATF over the counter.
