Passenger Front Door Not Opening From Inside and Outside.

Hi,

Replaced a snap on the front passenger side and then checked to see if the car outer and inner door handle is working. It was working fine. Finally I closed the door and locked. I unlock and started the car, I heard many lock and unlock sounds and then the door on the front passenger side where I had earlier replaced a snap would not open either from outside or inside. Did any one face a issue like this.

I had to replace the snap as it had broken and the door was not functioning from outside...but I could open from inside.

Please help.

I'm trying to figure out what "snap" you're referring to, but I'll assume you mean those little with things that hold the rods in place. As for hearing your door lock go up & down, then quit, it seems to me like a wire must have gotten pinched and is possibly grounding out somewhere against metal. It might be grounded in the Locked position and hence won't open from either side. Does the manual lock mechanism still come up?

Not sure how much info you have about the inner door parts or PDL circuit, so I've posted some stuff below that might help. They are in JPG format, so you can just copy them and save them. Maybe something will help you locate a certain wire or relay or something.
