Australia 3sge ECU onto a 3sfe help please

here is my dilema, i have fitted a 3sfe to my 1985 camry sv11 with intentions of fitting a 3sge in the future . so i want to wire up the 3sge computer to the 3sfe .now here is the problem 3sge dissy has 4 wires ecoded as G- , G1 , G2 , NE , 3sfe have 3 wires coded as G , G- , NE , the 3sge dissy will not fit the 3sfe .the engine will run only if i supply fuel direct to the manifold but the injectors are not recieving a pulse from the computer
i know it would be easyer just to fit the 3sge or wire up the 3sfe ECU to the existing motor but where is the challenge in that. the simplest thing is to leave it alone and put it all back to original. i havent even mentioned it has a auto trans from a 94 model camry .

Wire up the correct ECU for the motor. The 3s-ge ECU will not control the 3s-fe well, if at all. You already discovered one problem - and there are others. Don't even try to go there.

It will be less work (and work better) to use the correct ECU for the correct motor.

What are you doing for trans control?

Holy crap I don't even know were to begin with that! I guess you should get out the wiring diagrams put them side by side and start going threw each circuit one by one. I know the fuel pump circut was compleatly different on my 3sgte than on my 3sfe, but I don't know about the 3sge. This sounds like more trouble than its worth.

Australia

i fitted a 3sfe to this car about 9 years ago wired it up to the 3sfe ECU until the motor was tired and i replaced it with the intention of building a 5sge so with that in mind it was planed to do all the wireing to suit the 5sge when fitted but yes it has turned into one hell of a nightmare . the easiest way to overcome the dissy problem is a sleeve machined up to hold the 3sge dissy . and it would work . But now the problem should be solved as i have now bought an st162 celica with 3sge , so hopefully all problems solved
