headlight problems

I have an 87 camry with low beams out and left high beam out. I replaced bulbs and checked the fuses, still not working. The high beam indicator light does not come on with the one working high beam light. Any suggestions??? Where is the headlight relay?

sounds a good deal like a grounding issue.

Is there a difference if you pull the stalk to 'flash' the high beams? Is the car an LE model?

No difference when you pull back the mometary high beam switch. The car is a DX model.

you need to get a meter or at least a test light & check your headlight plug for power & ground issues. If theres no power, get a wiring diagram & trace it back til you find power. Same w/ the ground.
