LEATHER INTERIOR: uncommon, rare, or ultra-rare?

There's a 2nd Gen near me for sale that has leather interior. Never seen it before. Rare?

I've never herd of a 2nd Gen with leather interior but if in fact it's OEM then it's definitely rare. But I suspect its an aftermarket add on.

Well, I called the owner and he insists it's a OEM job. Still could be from a Lexus and swapped earlier. The ad has now been pulled, so I assume he sold it. That's good; he was hauling it to the metal recycler Monday. Asking price was $250, v6 engine timing belt tensioner bolt stripped.

That's a false statement. There was most definitely a leather option on the later gen2 Camry.
