Belt Side Engine Mount

I am wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with specific mounts. I am referring to the mount that attaches to the engine on the timing belt side. I purchased an anchor mount from rock auto, and it was a horrible experience. Hard to install, and it feels like a solid mount. I have purchased the Toyota OEM replacement, and intend to install it soon. The rest of the mounts were simple easy replacement. I just had a horrible experience and am hoping we can compile some type of list of acceptable part numbers.

Thanks

I have no personal experience with Rock Auto, I have heard good things about them, but I have heard that there has been problems with their mounts.

My suggestion is get a price quote from me. I am an authorized Toyota Dealer and I offer ToyotaNation Members 30% off MSRP and I only charge actual shipping costs plus $1.00 - $2.00 for materials, etc.

So there are two on the passenger side, the lower one is a 12362-74030 and MSRP is $137.67 and TN members would pay $96.37 the upper or center is a 12363-74030 and MSRP is $67.19 and TN members would pay $47.03.

I put that out there for a reference so you guys have an OEM parts source. Also, if you have any questions, or need any information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Funny part is that I work for a toyota dealer as a tech, and your price is better than what I paid for the mount. I will keep you in mind. How do you take payments? Anyone else?

I can do a CC authorization form or I can do Paypal, whichever is more convenient. If anyone wants to know, I do prefer the CC form because I don't pay the fee's that way, but it is really what you guys prefer.

Installed the Toyota OEM mount after work today... Huge difference. It is like night and day.

My experience is buy OEM Pass. Lower mount and everything else doesnt matter.

Hope this helps someone and saves them time in the future and money. I now have a 40 dollar paper weight which was supposed to be a mount.

Sorry it took me a day to get back to you, I was off yesterday and my wife refuses to let me do any work when I am off, even though I don't consider the forum work, she does

Any Way, no you don't have to put in any code, but if you do a parts request at our website, PLEASE make sure you state that you are a TN member. If you prefer, and it is better for me, is to email me directly at garys@toyotaofnewnan.com that way I can at least respond back if it is after hours, or you can PM me, but email is much easier. AHHH, and if all else fails, we can do it the old fashion way, by telephone Sorry, couldn't resist there.

I do things a bit old fashion, genuine one on one personal service. I do look up the orders personally and not some random generated computer. So you get a real live HUMAN doing the work.
