need help

hi guys i bought a electric jdm oil pressure gauge but never knew it never have any manual. it has a sender and a switch which i think is 4 temp.the colour wires are red, black, green and orange. can u say what goes where

have you tried contacting the manufacture ? it should be battery+,ground,illumination,from sender but i wouldn't want to just guess what wire is for what. with that said good chance that red is + but black or green can be ground.

Its been years but I think my VDO gauges were:

Red-Battery
Black-Ground
Green-Sending Unit
Orange-Illumination

thanks guys. today i tried putting red+ black- and the guage lit up and the rush to the max. if i try connecting red+ black- green- it climbs slowly to max then receeds connecting the orange to the- nothing happens so i am wondering if the green is indeed sender. ps it is a smoke gauge so it would light up each time it turns on
