Gen1 auto to manual swap on 1986 camry

You pretty much need the stuff from a Gen1 Camry 5spd or the Celica 1986 5spd yea?

Noticable power increase with the 5psd VS slushbox?

any trans that hooks up with the 2-se from ether the celica or the camry. i got my trans from a 85 camry.

and it is hell of noticeable power increase. but Im also running cold air intake and free flow exhaust

power increase? hows that work from doing a tranny swap? im guessing you mean, power being allowed to be put to the wheels? lol. just messing with you, i know what your guys mean. glad to see someone else loving the first gen. im looking to do a 4age swap into mine in the following year or two.

nice a 4age you are going to have to do custom mounts.this year i hope to put the 3sgte in my camry i already bought the motor just waitin on funds then ill swap. both of ours wont be easy but no one has ever done it(thats why i do it).

The 3SGTE should be a tad bit easier than a 4A (different series engine and transmission). Looking forward since it has never been done at lease on this forums
