Strange Rattling/Clunking Noises

My Camry has recently started making this strange clunking/rattling noise whenever I start the car, step on the acceleration (though it begins to smooth out as I get faster), or turn on the heat (it makes a short clunking noise, you can hear it in the video). Can anyone tell me by the sound what might be the problem??? The car still drives pretty much the same except that I can feel a lot of vibration as I accelerate. Also, these problems become more pronounced as I am driving uphill.

This started happening after I had my car pulled out of a ditch by a truck. We got it out by stringing a rope through the two hole things in the front of the car and kinda towing it out.

Here's a video of the sound:

is that sound throughout the whole video the sound you are describing?

the only thing i can say for sure is the rope most likely pulled unevenly and could have bent something, or loosened something.

Something loose in the engine bay, maybe?

Mine sort of makes that noise when a plug wire falls off of the distributor cap... And only firing on three cylinders, it "chuffs" quite a bit and shakes while accelerating but will smooth out as I get up to speed. Hard to notice while on the freeway, but around-town it's killer.

Edit: I listened again. It sounds like your downpipe is loose from the exhaust manifold. My Geo had sheared two studs on the bottom of the manifold and it had come away from the downpipe, sounded almost exactly the same.

Has your throttle response gotten better?

Get under your car and check the exhaust system, shields and hangars. You may have scraped something hard on the belly.

The clunking rattling sounds like an open and or loose exhaust. The other sound might be the blower fan blade just hitting something a little bit until it gets spinning. They both be from hitting the bottom when you went into the ditch although the blower is inside the car. Just my guess, but that's a great idea to put the sound on the video. I couldn't tell anything from the description but the sounds say it all. Good Luck Peace, Eugee

The first noise definitely sounds like an exhaust system leak. The second noise coming from the fan could be the motor itself, a loose squirel cage (as the actual spinning fan portion is referred to), or some debris inside the blower motor housing.
