So I just did my driver front axel shalf. Needless to say, I now figured how what all my creeking noise is coming from.
I've already done my front passenger sway bar bushing (bracket) in the front. The driver side...lets say one of the bolt is siezed and I can't get it out (been PB blasting it for a week straight).
Anyhow, When I was trying to take off that massive 30mm bolt on both sides of the car, that creeking of all time started to come out and play...along with a lot of wheel play front and back. I manage to get the driver side 30mm off by standing on my 1 foot extention...the passenger side...well I was somewhat bouncing off on it and it wouldn't budge, I guess I need an impact wrench for that (ugh, I hate it when I can't do both sides!)
Anyhow, here's my question. Since I got to go and put new bushings in the LCA for the one that goes through the sway bar and the body, I was able to look on ebay for this one (
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/83-91...item5641e8701c) that says it is for an '83~'91 camry, basically a Gen1 to Gen2. Thing is...is this part really for both? I'm asking this because I can't find anyplace (rockauto and my local parts place along with checkers) that carrys this bushing for the control arm. I always do have the option of buying this (
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tchlink:top:en) that which I can insert them into the LCA...with a press or something...but wondering what other routes I have.
Thanks!
