2nd Generation Oil/sludge covering injectors and fuel rail

91 camry 2.0 dx. Got another question different but also the same as my other thread. ive replaced fuel filter, cold air intake, ignition coil, distributor o ring, plugs, rotor, cap, wires, motor and trans mounts, cleaned some filter from the pod next to the egr. (couldnt get the banjo bolt from egr to clean it). ran lots of fuel injector cleaner and got them cleaned at the shop on car(not very well). throttle bodys cleaned also. intake its 100% sealed.

a couple new vaccum hoses but still most of them are in rough shape but only one has a very tiny crack in it.

also spent 130 on a tps that wasnt needed.

i occasionaly get a stutter/bog on acceleration and then it smooths out by high reving and drives fine the rest of the way (doesnt stall).
Rough idle also randomly.and harsh engagement into first sometimes.

im all out of ideas. the car was ran on 3 cylinders for a long time. no leaks though. 1,and number 2 injectors are covered in sludge (other 2 very little) rail is covered and even the windshield wiper motor and passanger side strut tower is covered. so what ever it is its shotting up pretty well.

pressed throttle and watched injectors no spraying or anything i seen.

should i put all new gaskets on injectors or spend big bucks on injectors?

or buy a new distributor sence its the only ignition part that hasnt been replaced.

the stuttering its like a misfire type of stutter.

Money pit. i love the car but im running out of patience and ideas

anyone?

Have you been able to isolate the misfire to a particular cylinder? Have you done a compression test? What do you mean the injectors are covered in sludge, you mean the outside? What do the plugs look like?

What does your transmission fluid look like?

My '92 Tracker was doing something similar, it had blown a transmission fluid line (factory fluid cooler is built into the radiator) and was squirting oil everywhere.

fluid is good. slight bubbles though on one side of dipstick. at one point i had a trans shop test drive it and said it was fine. the line to my cooler is fine. any other lines that may be blown?

Not that I can think of... Do these have an oil cooler at all, or just a trans fluid cooler? Could be maybe a small hole in an oil line that only leaks under pressure.

Your description of where the oil is makes it sound like it's hitting the pulleys/belts, though, so I'm not really sure. I still don't know Toyotas as well as I know Suzukis.

When you say the car ran on 3 cylinders for a long time, why exactly was this happening?

They have a trans cooler from what i know.
its leaking pretty well. i did replace some vaccum lines and autozone gave me ones very very very slightly too big so im gonna replace them with nice tighter fitting ones asap. i know that can cause damage. related to loosing coolant? car is not overheating. i pinched the upper hose and it pulses after i turn the car off and the pulse carries to the control thing on the fire wall.

like i said it sounds like its comming inside the car almost. heat blows hot still.
and passanger side isnt wet or anything.

my gf which i got the car from ran it on 3 cylinders (needed a tune up badly)
for a long time. cars never over heated or left me stranded.
could the heater core hose finally broken?
thats my only bet
