1st & 2nd Generation (1983–1986 & 1987-1991)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1983-1986 & 1987-1991.
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i wasn't selling it i just asked if you wanted pictures ... it won't work.. you'll need the fuel level sender out of a car with digi gauge and other stuff that's hard to find

Quantum mechanics - the dreams that stuff is made of.
Of all the Gen2's I've seen on this island...in my ENTIRE life time, I've only seen 2 Camrys with it... (Gen2 at lease)
Very rare option. another SUPER RARE option is factory leather on the later part of the Gen2.
And as mention, it is NOT plug and play. You will need a few things, such as a fuel sender.....forgot what the other thing you will need beside the wiring.
Also..........something interesting though..
Of the two, both were I4. Did the digi dash only come with the I4 LE trim as an option? I know that the 3SFE and the 2VZFE had different red lines too
I've seen a couple Gen 2s with leather in the junk yard. I knew they were pretty rare too. Hopefully some people who have a Gen 2 with leather take care of the whole car..any on TN?

IIRC you need the rheostat (dimmer switch), fuel level sender and the rear harness plug going into the digi dash from the donor car with the digital cluster.

If the dealership still sold em...
An arm and a leg and everything else you can think of. Normal analong clusters itself are usually super expensive..........
i came accross one in a junkyard once and it's now in my car. if you wan to do the conversion you need the cluster it self, rheostat(dimmer switch) that goes next to the steering wheel, the pigtail connection that goes to the body from the rheostat, the rear fuel sending unit, the pigtail connection that goes to the body from the fuel sending unit.
the guy who did my engine swap wired it in and it worked like a charm, lately the tach on it hasn't been working but i think that's a wiring issue. i wish it was like the one from the cressidas that you could program a happy bday message into but either way when the honda boys see it in my car they get excited and talk about the s2k dash.

On the 1991 Camry was only available on the V6 JPP LE models, p/n 83291-32110. Not currently available, but I'm assuming it would be several hundred, close to a thousand new.
