89 v6 trans problem
I just bought an 89 v6 camry wagon. It was running fine when i test drove it. So i bought it. It sat for a week and today has no reverse. I pulled it out this morning, backed it in. Less then 2 hrs later i go to drive and i have no reverse. I checked the fluid and it was very low. But the car had not been driven in a week and drove fine before hand. Now reverse is neutral, neutral runs in gear but doesnt shift out of first. But drive, 2nd, and low are fine. Shifts gears when driving fine too. So i emptied the trans fluid and refilled with a bottle of Lucas hoping it will work it self out. Any one have any ideas about this?
