Windshield washer woes

My '91 camry doesn't squirt liquid out hose. Checked forums for this issue 1st b4 posting.

Fluid is full and motor makes noise. I blew air thru the hose for clogs.

Two questions, where does washer fluid hose connect to resovoir? Is it at the bottom inside the fender as I can't see it and where is the washer motor situated?

Thanks,

honda ow

The washer motor and hoses are at the bottom of the reservoir. You'll have to unbolt the tank to gain access. Sedans have one motor, wagons, two.

You said that you hear a noise, but I'd still check for voltage at the terminal when the washer button is pressed. If you get current, then you can unhook the hose at the motor and try again. If water squirts out of the motor, the hoses or nozzles are bad. If no water comes out, then the motor is bad. You can take out the motor pretty easily just by twisting. Make sure that there is nothing clogging the intake side. This is also a good time to clean any sediment from the reservoir.

Good luck.
