Best way to vent valves?

I know most people will say through the throttle body how it comes stock.
i have had my valve cover breather hose straight to my cold air intake but got a little amount of "blow by" in my intake hose. not much.
ran it to the throttle body and no problems now.


but i was wondering. whats the best way? was thinking of a running a hose to a cooler part of the engine with a breather on it. so its sucking in colder air.

or running a "T" plastic fitting.

one hose from the valve cover split into one way to the throttle body and one to a mini filter.

any gains or anything to get from this?

Run it stock, or if you are worried about a little oil, run it through a catch can first.

There is no vacuum in the intake tube, so the vent won't be doing its job as well as it could. Ideally, you actually want a slight vacuum in the engine case.

Other (higher horsepower, generally) cars have more complicated venting systems for a number of reasons. I don't see a reason to change it on the 3s-fe unless you turbocharge the motor...
