When did the Camry LE start having power windows? I was just wondering because my '87 Camry is an LE and has all the power options, power antenna, interval wipers, cruise control, power mirrors, but doesn't have power windows. Im just wondering if they even had power windows for the Camry in '87 or if maybe the car was special ordered without power windows at the dealer.

My 87 has power windows but wish they didn't sine none of them work and can't figure them out.

Hm...that is weird. The '87 had a power package option, which included what you have plus power windows. I don't think there was even a way to get some power options without the windows. I don't have an '87 myself, but I've never seen an LE with manual windows. Are you sure the doors weren't swapped from another car?

They were probably swapped. Our '88 LE had power windows, locks, and mirrors. The Gen 1s could have all of those, too.
